Hey RepairShoprs — Happy Friday!
Today we are sharing a Quality of Life update developed to save you time.
You can now choose to have custom names on Tickets, Invoices and Estimates carry over automatically, avoiding the need to manually change the name on the Ticket, Estimate, and Invoice you’re working with.
Prior to this update, if you were to create a custom name for an Estimate, for example, and then turn the Estimate into an Invoice, the name would need to be replicated on the Invoice manually. Now, when enabled, creating any derivation of Tickets, Estimates, and Invoices from one another will carry over their names automatically, saving you the trouble and wasted time of having to manually name associated records each time.
To enable this setting, head to the Admin Center within your RepairShopr account and click on the “Customer Preferences” link in the left-hand column of the page. Click the “Additional Settings” link toward the bottom of the page and check-mark the field titled “Maintain custom names between Tickets, Estimates, and Invoices.”
