RepairShopr Blog

Stay tuned for news and updates

Hey there,

Here is what’s new recently from us:

  1. We are adding timezone support and appointment duration settings to the Appointment Booking feature!
  2. We also added “Per-User” appointment booking links, read all about these 2 features on the KB page: http://feedback.repairshopr.com/knowledgebase/articles/430830
  3. Import Improvements! (RepairShopr Staff Tool) We now have an easier way to import tickets, invoices, and assets – so if you were told before that we couldn’t help with that, try us again – we are ready to go!
  4. Massive Email Improvement! We are calling it “3-Way Email”, this will be a work in progress – but we are making it so all emails from RepairShopr can be replied to and “the right thing happens” – like, if someone replies to an invoice email, you get a notification and you can reply to their reply, and that will get sent to themYou can see this in action now on the Leads/Contracts/Estimates/Invoices modules, go ahead and try it out! Just send an email to your leads alias from your personal (non-repairshopr) email. When you get the notification, that can be replied to – and that will go to the customer, the customer can also reply to that email, and you’ll get that – they all get threaded into the lead.

We are going to update all the emails to work this way very soon

  5. Logistics now support serial numbers (big chain accounts)
  6. Improved the tooltip on the field jobs page, it doesn’t disappear on you any more
  7. You can now import Vendors with QuickBooks Desktop
  8. New and Improved UI for the registers opening/closing
  9. Now the main nav had a more button so things fit better on smaller screens
  10. New Customer Search module on the customers page, this also feeds Marketr now – you can start migrating your customer lists to this tool

Your Marketr campaigns can now use this more powerful tool – and now we can finally start adding some new functionality to saved searches to make Marketr even better, you’ll see new items pop into the search box periodically over the next few months

  11. Lots of changes are starting to roll in for serialized inventory, we show locations on the serials list and lots more will be coming up
  12. Refunds now support serialized products properly
  13. We now have a tool for customer service to bulk sync Xero invoices. (Contact us if you needed that done and we couldn’t before)
  14. Importing Customers now skips Xero Contacts with an Accounts Payable Invoice. Xero Contacts with no invoices are still treated as Customers (and Xero Contacts with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Invoices are also skipped)
  15. We have updated our Google sign-in to support the latest sign-in standards from Google.
  16. Xero Settings now includes an option to sync products to Xero again, we had this and turned it off because we were hitting API limits at Xero but we have resolved that and it should be good to go!
And here are some other things we fixed:
  1. Purchase Orders now validate uniqueness of serial numbers
  2. Fixed date filters on performance report
  3. I add exceptions in invoices page and in products page, that help us to handle errors that can occur when serials count > 0 and serials count doesn’t equal line_items quantity or product location quantity and product serial quantities doesn’t equal
  4. We now have a tool for customer service to bulk sync Xero invoices.
  5. Importing Customers now skips Xero Contacts with an Accounts Payable Invoice. Xero Contacts with no invoices are still treated as Customers (and Xero Contacts with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Invoices are also skipped)
  6. We have updated our Google sign-in to support the latest sign-in standards from Google.
  7. We are starting on improving Invoices with the “3-way-email” feature so replies will thread properly and be surfaced more prominently
  8. Xero Settings now includes an option to sync products to Xero
